Poem A Day

Classic poem

Impromptu

by George Gordon, Lord Byron

BENEATH Blessington's eyes

The reclaimed Paradise

Should be free as the former from evil;

But if the new Eve

For an Apple should grieve,

What mortal would not play the Devil?
